| Simply put, one of the main responsibilities of the GBA is to provide the national government with good accommodation. This includes the various ministries, the government departments which come under them, and the High Councils of State. The GBA's other responsibilities include technical management of the palaces, encouraging and monitoring architectonic quality, conformance with urban design, and the quality of visual arts in the architecture of the buildings and works for which the department is accountable. This includes responsibility for the sound management of government-owned listed buildings. | |||
