Historia :
L'istituzione della struttura sanitaria di Portomaggiore si ebbe sin dal 1882 attraverso i lasciti di Carlo Eppi. Un ospedale venne realizzato nel 1895, che venne poi distrutto con i bombardamenti del 1945. Un progetto elaborato nello stesso anno (1945) da Vaccaro e Parolini, fu realizzato solo tra il 1961 ed il 1966, in un sito diverso da quello dell'originaria collocazione urbana.

Architettura :
L'ospedale è riconducibile alla tipologia a poliblocco, anche se esistono dei corpi isolati appartenenti al complesso. E' costituito nella sua parte principale da: un piano seminterrato; un piano rialzato; un primo piano; ed un secondo piano. Dal censimento del 1999 risultava dotato di 6 posti letto.
 

History:
The institution of the sanitary structure of Portomaggiore was born in 1882 through the bequests of Carl Eppi. The hospital came realized in 1895, but was then then destroyed with the strafings of 1945. A plan processed in same year (1945) from Vaccaro and Parolini, was realized later, between 1961 and 1966, on a new place, different from the original hospital.

Architecture:
The hospital looks like the tipology " Polybloc ", even if it exists some isolated building pertaining to the complex. The main building is constituted of a graound florr, and two other floors.

La structure sanitaire de Portomaggiore prend naissance en 1882, grâce au legs effectué par carlo Eppi. L'hôpital fut construit en 1895, mais entièrement détruit pendant les bombardements de 1945. Le projet de reconstruction mis au point dans les années suivantes par Vaccaro et Parolini ne fut réalisé que dans les années 1961-66, sur un site différent de celui de l'hôpital originel.

Architecture :
Malgré quelques bâtiments isolés appartenant au complexe, l'ensemble peut être rapproché de la typologie hospitalière Polybloc. La partie principale est composée d'un rez-de-chaussée et deux étages supérieurs.
